Julia Gray Ingenious
Inspirations.
Julia Gray -- The name is synonymous with furniture
that is noted for its ingenuity in design, bold mixing of old-world
elements with todays functionality and fresh inspirations
of positioning.
This season the collections fourth with E.J. Victor
is no exception.
An 18th-Century Swedish poster bed is the cornerstone of Julia
Grays April 2004 introductions.
With Julia Grays trademark usage of extraordinary decorative
finishes, the bed is available with either veneer or upholstery
panels in the headboard and footboard. Delicate gold leafing will
accent the hand-painted finishes which include creamy white and
soft green colors.
The carved and shaped posts with the headboard posts taller
than those at the foot feature delicate carving and shaped
fluted relief. The headboard and footboard are distinguished by
a gentle sweeping silhouette.
A European-styled metal bracket spans the two headboard posts.
Other Julia Gray furniture being introduced during the April market
includes her three-piece Sheraton-styled Wall Unit in her stunning
black chinoiserie, hand-painted finish. This is the same finish
that highlights her 105"-tall four poster bed.
Additionally, several occasional and accent items will round out
the Julia Gray introductions.
First unveiled in April 2002, the Julia Gray collection is comprised
of dazzling, decorative, hand-painted European reproduction wood
and upholstered furniture. Most of the signature items feature
the artistic application of eglomise.
Julia Grays unique design and finish has quickly positioned
the collection as one E.J. Victors fastest-growing and successful
collections. "The response at retail of our Julia Gray furniture
has been excellent," said John V. Jokinen, president and
CEO of E. J. Victor.
Ms. Gray is internationally recognized for creating reproduction
