Continuing to build on its reputation of providing fresh, stylish and innovative fabrics and seating frames, E.J. Victor’s upholstery division introduces transitional shapes to complement its art deco-influenced Couture 25 collection.

A beautiful, exposed-wood, sweeping radius sofa and chair highlight the April 2004 introduction. It’s clean lines and gracefully, continuous curve create a cosmopolitan feel, said Joe Manderson, E.J. Victor’s executive vice president and co-founder.

Two other upholstered groups, both reflecting a transitional style, compliment the firm’s Couture 25 introduction.

Manderson’s upholstery design teams have historically worked with fabric houses to design and construct unique, exclusive fabrics. This season, E. J. Victor is adding nearly 160 new fabrics to its line.

A fabulous "Eye Lash" construction weave has been incorporated into select cloths. This manufacturing technique gives the fabrics unparallel tactile qualities. "It gives the fabrics fabulous dimension and texture," Manderson said.

Manderson is expanding its Loggia line of plush sunbrella® fabrics that were introduced in October 2003. These fabrics are exquisite, fade-resistant and stain-resistant and create luxuriously comfortable upholstery for all rooms of the house.

Throughout E.J. Victor’s upholstery introductions this season, buyers will see a gentle pallet of teals, pear greens and blues.
