Pride Sasser Home Furnishings
PSHF is a designer and manufacturer of unique,
high-end accents, accessories and furniture that dovetail nicely
into E.J. Victor's collections of wood and upholstered
products. The collaboration was made public in April 2002 when
PSHF items were displayed in a tent behind E.J. Victor's
showroom.
Recent introductions have included bronzes,
ceramics, lighting and occasional furniture, all designed by
Sasser. Additionally,
PSHF items, inspired by furnishings inside Rough Point, the Newport,
Rhode Island home of Doris Duke, will accessorize E.J. Victor's
displays of its Doris Duke and Newport furniture collections.
While
PSHF designs, manufacturers and manages overseas logistics of
its product, sales, credit and related service operations
are handled by E.J. Victor's sales representatives and
internal staff.
To meet the challenge of writing and managing
orders with nearly 1,000 new items, PSHF has installed a new
state-of-the-art order
writing system in the showroom. This system speeds order entry,
drastically reduces opportunities for error, and gives managers
better tools to manage orders
Pride Sasser Home Furnishings: The
most creative and innovative source of furnishings for your home.
North Carolina born and now based in Asia, designer
Pride Sasser puts his signature on every piece - the majority
of which are
produced in workshops that Pride owns and supervises.
Pride Sasser
Home Furnishings -- furniture, lighting and
accessories -- combines the use of fine natural materials with
classic forms, to create a soft, textural mood of uncomplicated
luxury.
Maximum use is made of environmentally renewable
materials. Seashells are recovered by local families from the
beaches of
Southeast
Asia. Cast-off materials, such as eggshells and coconut shells
are reclaimed and used in intricate, decorative patterns. The
result is a feeling of sophisticated serenity directly in contrast
with our hectic daily lives.
Edward W. Phifer, III, Joseph B.
Manderson and John Victor Jokinen founded E.J. Victor in 1990
in Morganton, NC. Together,
the founders
created a corporate culture that maintains an unwavering
commitment to preserving time-honored, local construction methods
used
to create exquisite furniture for the home. |
